Your quality advocate and technical procurement arm in China.

Steve LightVerified is the buyer-side quality assurance and technical procurement practice of Steve Sourcing (Guangzhou) Limited. We work only for lighting buyers — never for the factories we assess, and never for a share of the goods we supervise.

01 / Who we are

A practice built from the factory floor inward.

The story in short — told through what we do, not where we have been.

COMPANY

Steve Sourcing (Guangzhou) Limited

A Guangzhou-registered company operating at the centre of the Pearl River Delta lighting cluster. Steve LightVerified is its service brand — the name says what we sell: lighting, verified, from the buyer's side of the table.

BRAND

Steve LightVerified

Steve LightVerified brings systematic manufacturing quality engineering to the sourcing of LED engineering lighting. Our framework is built on ISO 9001 quality principles and refined specifically for engineering LED lighting, covering thermal performance, driver reliability and EU compliance requirements. Leveraging our six-capability supplier assessment model, the QLAF three-layer risk mechanism and four-stage project verification gates, we identify hidden supply chain risks: undisclosed material downgrades, unapproved engineering changes, and mismatches between test reports and mass-produced products.

FOCUS

Lighting, and only lighting

LED luminaires, drivers, components and their adjacent categories. Vertical depth is the product: bin codes, LM-80 data, thermal baselines and DALI-2 registers are everyday vocabulary here, not marketing keywords.

METHOD

Documents before promises

Every service runs on a numbered document system — from the free Supplier Fact Sheet to the Order Archive Pack that stays retrievable for 24 months. If it isn't written down, gated and archived, it didn't happen.

02 / Independence is structure

Not a values statement — an income statement.

Our only source of income is the buyer. That single fact settles every conflict of interest before it arises.

STRUCTURE

A factory that pays us has nothing to buy

Commissions, referral fees, volume rebates — none exist here, in any form. So when we tell you a factory is good, you can act on it. And when we tell you to walk away, you know why.

STRUCTURE

You contract and pay the factory directly

We never touch your money and never hold funds. Goods flow, money flow and information flow are three separate lines — and the money line bypasses us entirely.

STRUCTURE

The declaration travels with the report

Every report we issue carries the buyer-side declaration in its header. You can hand it straight to the supplier — they will see exactly who we work for. Few things discipline a factory conversation faster.

03 / What we don't do

The boundary list, in full.

A service company is defined as much by what it refuses as by what it delivers.

✕No supplier commissions or referral fees — in any form, ever. Our income comes from buyers only.
✕No handling of your payments — you contract and pay each factory directly; we hold no funds.
✕No trading — we don't buy and resell, and we add no margin to goods.
✕No markup on laboratory tests — lab fees pass through at cost, shown on the order form.
✕No certification services — accreditation bodies certify. We specify, place and interpret tests.
✕No BSCI / Sedex social audits — they are a different discipline; we'd rather refer you than do them badly.
✕No signing on your behalf — no authority over your contracts, your bank details or your approvals.
✕No undeletable promises — if a job needs a capability we lack, we say so before quoting — not after.
04 / Limitation of scope

What we verify — and what stays with the component maker.

The scope clause, published in the open rather than left to an annex.

04.1 SCOPE

Steve LightVerified’s quality verification activities are limited to the inspection, witness testing and audit of finished LED luminaires and the luminaire manufacturer’s internal quality system.

04.2 KNOWLEDGE

We possess general working knowledge of LED packages, drivers and other sub-components to support BOM verification, risk assessment and failure root-cause analysis.

04.3 EXCLUDED

We do not perform on-site audits, process validation or manufacturing assessment at the factories of semiconductor, LED chip, capacitor, IC or other component suppliers.

04.4 RESPONSIBILITY

The manufacturing quality, reliability and compliance of raw components remain the sole responsibility of the respective component manufacturers.

04.5 NO WARRANTY

Our verification does not constitute a warranty for the long-term performance of components. We only verify that the luminaire factory maintains BOM consistency, incoming control and finished product compliance as agreed in the project specification.

04.6 LIABILITY

We shall not be liable for defects originating from component raw material, component manufacturing or component batch issues, provided that the luminaire factory has followed the approved BOM and material selection.

05 / How an engagement feels

One desk, one audit team, one archive.

The same three-role structure runs through every product.

YOUR DESK

One point of contact

From your first request to the final archive handover, one named person owns your file end to end — scheduling, document flow, questions, escalations. You never chase a team.

THE SITE

An audit team with two disciplines

On-site work runs with a lead auditor of IATF 16949 background plus a lighting specialist — process discipline and product judgement in the same room, the same day.

THE ARCHIVE

Everything, retrievable for 24 months

Specifications, gate records, photographs and shipping documents consolidate into an Order Archive Pack within five days of shipment — the file that turns a dispute into a claim.

Test us with one factory name.

The free Supplier Fact Sheet is a complete engagement in miniature: registry data, export footprint, litigation records and certificate verification, within 48 hours, at no cost.
